Who is Wine Cat?
Hello! I am Pinelopi Kouloumpi and I am the founder and owner of Wine Cat Consultancy. In life I have two great passions… Wine and cats! My consultancy will serve both in different ways.
As a professional sommelier, certified by WSET and holder of a Gold Pin by the Association de la Sommellerie Grecque, I have worked in the hotel, restaurant and wine bar establishments and have an experience ranging from casual drinking and eating to fine dining in award winning gourmet restaurants. I have worked and lived in Italy and Greece.
My initiation into the world of wine began in Italy where I lived during my studies. Italians have a passion for food & wine which is contagious! Upon my return to my homeland I continued my studies with my focus being in small – boutique – wineries and the indigenous Greek grape varieties.
Via Wine Cat’s services I wish to offer my expertise to promote the sale of quality wine, enhance the wine drinking experience for consumers by offering them the knowledge to make the right selection of product and educate all parties serving and selling wine so as to offer the best wine service to their customers.
